The mind is a beautiful thing. It is the origin of whatever we say and do. If you are going to mind what you say or what you do, you have to mind what you think about!!
So, Philipians 4:8
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
You are a product of the thoughts you entertain!! For as a man thinketh, so is he.

“THE BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT LEARNING IS NO ONE CAN TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU.”
– BB KING
We are not all the same, and that’s where the beauty lies: in our difference. We are all just different parts of one body!!!
Harry Truman once said
“In reading the lives of great men, I found that the first victory they won was over themselves…self-discipline with all of them came first.”
And from this I have learnt, that if I am to conquer my enemy and overcome my challenge, self-discipline is key; and that includes the discipline to always think victory and not failure. That I should so tame my mind to entertain only thoughts of good success.
And that, in itself, is victory!
Sometimes we hold back from our goals and targets because we are too afraid of what others will think or say.
We are so afraid that our success will be too hurtful to those around us. We think to ourselves “let me not do this because i don’t want X to think am showing off.” or “Shh, don’t let anyone know i got an A, they’ll feel bad and not want to be friends with me.”
Well, there comes a time when you need to stop living for others. Like someone once said, “Be yourself, everybody else is taken.” People that feel intimidated or angered by your success shouldn’t be the benchmark for what you do, otherwise, you’ll never get to do anything you really want.
Surround yourself with people who celebrate your success and encourage you to do more. Be free to Win! Free to soar!! Free to conquer!!
Live life big!!! He did give us all things to enjoy, so go ahead, enjoy it!!!
If you wouldn’t like it said about you, don’t say it about others. Its a simple but eternal truth. Do unto others as you would have them do to you. Say unto and about others what you’d have them say about you. Ant if you don’t have anything nice to say, read a book!!! Its a love issue!!! Those you love, you will NEVER badmouth!!! Its as simple as 1. 2. 3.
“When I discover who I am, I’ll be free.”
More often than not, many people think what makes them good, is the good acts that they do. They think well, “I am a good person, I give to the poor, I go to church every Sunday, I am not rude to the homeless guy at the corner…I definitely must be living right”.
But we need to understand that living right is beyond our personal actions. Its about who, through his suffering became sin that we may become the righteousness of God through him(2 Corinthians 5:21). It is not right living and good deeds that make you righteous but righteousness that makes you live right. It is impossible to live right without righteousness. Half the time, when people think they are living right, they aren’t because they are either doing things to please others or for their own selfish benefit. Righteousness comes with love. Love will compel you to do right, not because its expected but because you love God and you love the next person.
Get to know Christ. Receive the gift of righteousness and reign in life through him. Romans 5:17.
God Bless you.
